Default Alternative to so many HDD enclosures?

I realized I have about 4-5 HDD enclosures lying around and it's a pain using them all and filling my USB ports and individualy powering them all.

Is there any solution out there that will let me put a bunch of harddrives together in a small portable case/cube, etc. that can easily plug and play in a single USB or ESATA just like a regular enclosure?

I don't mean building a spare computer and raiding the drives or anything as that's not portable enough and I'd have to do file transfers over network instead of being able to carry it around and plugging it in easily.

The new goggles also do nothing.

I'm sure I've seen lots of 4+ bay external enclosures with USB and eSATA.

Or why not just scrap them all and get a 1.5-2TB drive?

Thanks, that Mediasonic one is pretty cool. I just don't like to waste harddrives I guess. I have so many lying around.

You could get a USB hub.

The Drobo would also work.
