“Just for saving someone’s life?”

What is your life worth?

LOL, the equipment manager could've given the girl a Canuck jersey. That's probably worth $100. Or, he could've just quietly gone to the doctor and had his tumor removed and then went on quietly in his life and not thank the girl at all. I'd take $10K and spend it on an e-MTB.

Also what a great trainer.. even though he's on the canucks he seems like a very likeable guy. Can't get enough of this story! Especially that due to the pandemic I think alot of people have been letting health things slide not seeing doctors, etc (me included)

I'm with that viewpoint. I do wish the amount was higher, but it was a pleasant surprise for her to get anything.

Really a good story all the way around.

Someone gives me 10K for a good deed, I'm not going to complain it should have been more.

I don't think the young lady is complaining.

It's outsiders like us who are complaining.

$5k or $50k are basically the same amount to a billion dollar franchise. But to the student, the difference is massive.

In fact, their fancy accountants can probably make it profitable for the club to donate the larger amount.
