I find that weird considering their window is closing and his best friend is on the other Florida team, a team that should be very good for an extended period of time. Friedman is the best insider in the game so I will take what he says over what I have heard.

I wouldn't get too tunnel-visioned into thinking about Tampa's OVERALL asset base. Dallas was discussed here for Tanev because they had a lot of attractive pieces, and we didn't even get one of their top 5-7 tradable pieces.
Get the best deal. Period. If Tampa's 2026 1st is on the table, that's a really attractive piece. If Cernak or Cerelli is available , those are attractive pieces.
