^^ I like the 3rd one down. Have you tried turning up the contrast a bit in photoshop? I bet that would look pretty cool in that pic.

For fun, eclectic look at my Christmas lights . . . .
An earlier Fall shot, the plum at my place turns colour:
"Sunrise
Sunrise
Looks like morning in your eyes" - Norah Jones . . . . early morning at my place:
Clown break at Underground Atlanta . . . .
Nothing like a good scratch at sunset . . . .
Watercolour . . . . listening for mice under fresh snow . . .

HAHAHA, you may have the beautiful scenery that takes your breath away every morning, giving you reason to smile and take on the day, inspired by the sheer beauty of nature BUT i have the sound of drills, cranes, hammers and arse cleavage of some hairy builders set against the backdrop of drab, dreary grey London skies, a gusty breeze and usually rain. TOP THAT!
p.s Awesome photos as usual my friend.

Thanks . . . . I loved London though . . . . I have some very green shots of the place and early morning runs around Hyde Park/St. James Park/Regents Park were nice. Maybe some shots later.
Walking the prairie in early Fall, near Chain Lakes . . . .

You must have been here the one day it was sunny, hah!
To be fair, London is never as bad as i say it is, i just like bashing my home town/country for laughs. We had a fantastic summer last year and i have some fantastic photos of London. I will have to upload them from my old computer, all i have on my new computer are semi-naked photos of my fiancee...

I took about 250 pictures tonight of a pretty cool sunset, with this old tree in a farmers field out in springbank. My transfer over to my PC didn't go so well, and only a handful made it over. I'll try and put some more up tonight or tomorrow.
This next one, i didn't even notice the birds in it until i got home... but you can't really see them unless you have the huge file and have it fullscreen... oh well.

Man, you guys take some pretty terrific pictures. They look great.
Me, I'm just happy if everything is in focus and I get my thumb out of the way of the lens.

Ok, picked up a new Canon A630 to replace my ailing A70. Love it. This thing is amazing in low light, nice and big CCD in it (compared to others).
End of the NYE game between CGY and EDM.
Scrum during the NYE game.
Wait, what was that I saw in the last pic? A close up.
Oh my.... I never knew.
Wait a tick, the first one wasn't the end, it was warmup. THIS one is the end of the game.
NYE fireworks after the game.
Fireworks again.
You guessed it, fireworks again.
Neat fireworks effect, but the spotlight ruined it.
All together, I'm happy with the outcome considering I didn't have a tripod.

Here is one I worked on last. It is a crop of a larger picture so it is not as chrisp as I would have liked but it still turned out decent. Always fun to capture these moments as well.

I almost forgot about you . . . . . some pictures of YOUR London from my visit two years ago . . . . and yeah, in retrospect, it does look a little gloomy (I'll leave these pictures up for a few weeks, then they'll disappear):
Speakers corner in Hyde Park . . . the guy people were listening to . . .
. . . . versus the guy nobody was listening to. I swear this guy stood on this little ladder screaming his message at the top of his lungs for the full half hour/40 minutes I was around with not a single person giving him the slightest attention:
. . . . . and a guy who seemed to have been sleeping in the park overnight gives the gears to one of the speakers:
Regents Park . . . . wonderful parks in London . . .
Street entertainer at, I think, Charing Cross . . .
The audience . . . . . a modest story behind this picture below . . . . the little girl in the hat in the foreground holding her mother's hand . . . . while walking with my wife near Shaftsbury Lane I had seen her leaning on a shop door, framed in bright green as I recall, with a vacant, distracted, even haunted look on her face. For a split second I considered taking a moment to get that shot but took one step, then the next and the moment, as it so often is, was lost forever but I never forgot it because it would have made a fairly spectacular image . . . . I was astonished a few days ago, when looking at these pictures, to see her again in this one.
More Monty Python at Russell Square . . . .
