At least they got one run. Not much you can do when you have two pitcher equivalent hitters on your team (Thole and Pennington)

Why is Pennington playing so much? I thought he was a defensive bench guy.

I have no clue. Goins is better on defense and with the bat, but Gibbons throws him out there. It's nuts. Realistically Pennington should only play when Tulo needs a break, so like once every two weeks.
