Wow, Santos. First pitch was a double, but he really settled down after that. Really good sign.

Well that sucked, not really a single moment of excitement for the home crowd.

Disappointing, but it is only 1 game.

Got surprise tickets for tonights game and it was a dud. Fans were an embarrassment. Normally it's drunk fights on opening night, but this was far worse. Food throwing from the top sections down, including cheese and whatnot. As for the game, Arencibia seemed like he couldn't catch at all. As well, maybe the players are still feeling out the turf, but I'd think they'd do a little bit of leading off and getting the pitcher off their game - there was none of that. I'll be there tomorrow as well, so I hope for a more interesting game.

Tough game. Indians pitching was great but 4 hits?

Dickey looked really solid I thought. Such a different game watching a knuckler - as fans you really have no idea if he'll throw a strike or if it'll be 2 feet over JPs head. The ovation he got at the start of the game was pretty surreal too.

Also, Jose Reyes is a treat to watch at shortstop. Such quick hands, he's going to be dynamite this year if he stays healthy.

Well I hope that is the last time we see Arencibia catching Dickey... ever. You could tell on some .gifs over at Drunk Jays Fans that Dickey was not impressed with Arencibia's ability to handle the knuckleball. Can't say I blame him, cost us two runs. I guess I get that you are wanting to start your best for the home opener, just don't let it happen again.

And yeah, I seen that cut scene to the crowd of the two guys and the handy... Best part was Buck referring to them as "enthusiastic". Epic.

Thought Lind had a better game than most a willing to credit him with, hit the ball hard a few times. The double play was a great play by Cabrera - can't take that away from him. Arencibia continues to overwhelm with his swing and miss ability. However, the thought of Blanco is even more terrifying.

All in all - a pretty tough game to watch, outside of the one inning where we had bases loaded and none out, really not much to get excited about. Oh well - Morrow on the bump, time to get win #1.

LOL Chris Perez.

May not have got much for him but glad he is off the Cardinals. Just an awful pitcher.

Nice to see Adam Lind is back to form. Yesterday, blew a chance with bases loaded hitting into double play and today another out with man on...

No, will be 4 for 5. That will(was) be a fielders choice.

Just get the feeling when they break out the bats (hopefully tomorrow) they'll get on a roll. Probably would have been better for them to start on the road. Oh well, they'll be ok.
