I thought this was going to be a surefire Sliver thread, but after reading the OP there is indeed some logic to the question

I don't like golf or regularley golf. I think you are missing the point, or have never had a friend get married......
This is a bachelor party!!!! If the BACHELOR wants to golf, get off your wallet and suck up the 70$ and go with him for his last party as a single man, hit a few balls and laugh at your suckiness.

Every golf course I have been to sells alcohol, including all the City ones. Most of them have a person driving around on a cart selling drinks and food as well. You are not allowed to bring your own alcohol onto a golf course, but everyone does, just don't get caught.

If guys really don't want to golf and you're only looking for 9 holes the golf simulators really are the best way to go!

Nope. Not missing the point. Golf sucks and anyone who tries to make me golf also sucks. I've driven a cart on these types of mandatory golfing activities. You do you; I'll do me.

Pretty sure most if not all course should have a ride along rate. Don't think I've ever golfed one that doesn't. It is easy revenue for the course, even more so if the non-golfers are drinking from the beer cart

You did your duty by taking the groom to Vegas. Screw these guys...let them figure out something to do. You're getting walked all over here.

A good bachelor party is one where everyone has fun. If you have several friends who dont want to golf then your picking a pretty crappy event to waste a few hours on even if its only 9 holes.
Do what you want but those guys probably will have a crappy time and be upset into the future that they werent taken into consideration. But sounds like theyre either not close friends or not good friends anyways based on what you've posted.

The key is to add in ways to make it fun for everyone. Groom wants to golf? You do that - but there are ways to get the non golfers involved and having fun without making them play a serious game of golf, or sitting in a cart on the sidelines. On my stag we went golfing, and at each hole there was a challenge I had to do against someone and the loser had to chug a beer, take a shot or something. Play each shot blindfolded, only use your driver for a hole...tons of suggestions out there if you Google it.
Puts everyone on a level playing field and everyone has fun, unless they're real cranks. They wouldn't have fun anyways unless you did exactly what they wanted to do anyways.

Go out to Oxbow out before Strathmore. It's a 9 hole that's cheap and relaxed. It is built in a farmers field and you can get away with drinking lots. We usually load up our bags. I think green fees are 24 and cart is 8.50 pp

I have to admit I am somewhat surprised that a course in Calgary (i.e. anything that is not boulder creek/silverwing) would let guys just ride in a cart, unless they paid the green fee plus cart rental fee

I mean, we have had a stripper on city course...
I am questioning this is happening at all. You already planned and went to Vegas with the groom. Why are you planning a Calgary one for these guys when A) they can't plan it themselves B) don't want to go golfing.

I just threw a bachelor party for my buddy and we ended up renting a mansion in Bearspaw for the weekend and went axe throwing one day. Needed to get those guys out of the house for at least a couple hours or else they would have been asleep by 6 pm.

But why?
All he asked for was if anyone knew a golf course that fit what he planned to do. Looks like he got more critiques how to change the bachelor party to other people's preferences that aren't even invited.
