Hellebuyck is a bit of a mystery to me. Is he just a young goalie going through natural struggles? A good goalie on a bad team? Or neither?

Hellebuyck is/was a blue chip goaltending prospect who had a very rough season. This year will go a long way to see if the Jets move on to another goaltending solution or if Connors the guy. he changed up his off season training a lot and is working on his high glove, 2 areas of concern.

Yeah, this is odd, were they not lamenting the fact that hes was supposed to be 'The Guy' and then when he got his chance it turned out that he sucked?
This smacks of a 'show-me' contract, but the Jets are odd ducks, they dont operate the same way as the rest of the league.

I could see this kid eventually getting thrown out by the jets only to do well somewhere else.

That organization is kind of looking like Philadelphia west. Seems like a bit of a goaltender graveyard.
