Sweet. Reclining seats at country hills. Saturday night 8pm.
I swear, I'm never going to another normal theatre again unless I really want to see something in imax. I love those giant recliners.
Those recliners are the closest thing to being at home, so much space between you and the person beside you, people can walk by when fully reclined. The only way to watch a movie.
Review embargo lifts today but critics are tweeting their impressions, everyone says its awesome. Said they finally nailed Peter Parker/Spider-Man and the movie is like a mystery novel full of action. Sherlock Holmes level of twists, fitting given RDJ is there. I r excited.

1st bad review. Calls it toothless and says it takes no risk.
You really have to wonder what critics expect when they go see a superhero movie....
Make Spiderman handicapped and Ironman transgendered and it'll win all the oscars.
I can honestly see this being a problem, especially if they decide not to kill off any characters. Like it's a "war" someone (or more) should be dying.
If they all survive this, it'll be 'meh' for me. If we get through Infinity War and they haven't killed off at least a few main parts, I'd be pretty disappointed.

What if they just killed red shirts? The trailer kind of made it look like War Machine bit the dust. They could also knock off Hawkeye and no one would notice. Those are low risk kills.

It would be bad business to kill any of the main characters. They all make it to infinity. I'd expect when this phase is over they will sacrifice a few. That way they can retire all the actors and reboot everything. Or continue with replacements. No one dies before end of infinity pt 1 tho.
Don't they kinda have to play it safer for the movies? I mean in comic books everyone understands that dead isn't really dead, even without any fancy resets or them coming back somehow. There's a dozen other comics that character can appear in, parallel universes or alternate timelines or different series or whatever else they come up with. Killing someone in the comic only means they're gone for a while.
The movies don't have the luxury of a bunch of different venues going on at the same time, and there's only one movie every so often rather than many comics a month.
So I can see why it'd be a lot harder to take a big risk and kill off a main character.

It's a little late to be picking Disney apart for playing it safe, they found their formula it works and they are sticking with it. Can't say I blame them and it has produced a lot of entertaining movies. I am hoping though because it is the Russo brothers they will break the mold a little bit and set the tone for Infinity Wars.. the bar is set pretty damn high from Winter Soldier. Remember this is Captain America movie, so I expect it to be about Captain America. It's great that they got to bring so many characters into it, but I hope they don't lose sight of what the story is about. If this movie has the same depth of an Avengers movie I think the critics would be more harsh than they are, so that gives me hope.
