Sunwing Airlines flight escorted by F-15s due to unruly passenger
I'm thinking someone was hitting the sauce a little hard on their way to the all-inclusive.

The Delta story is definitely better. Two bottles of wine over the head haha.
Seems that people are definitely still not interested in being part of a hijacked jet.

Just saw that one. I clicked the link and read "A 23-year-old male passenger from Florida..." and thought "say no more."

A bunch of years ago in the 70's an Ethiopian airline flight got hijacked. At least I think it was Ethiopian.
Anyways they overpowered the hijacker, cleared the front of the plane. Tied him to his seat. Put a towel around his neck and cut his throat.

There were a few former soldiers on board the plane that had been threw hell and back. They didn't like terrorists so much as all were killed one way or another.
Edit, found it. The throat cutting isn't mentioned but this is the flight

Rubecube's link said it. "Passenger Dustin Jones said the man continued to fight even as he was ziptied to a wheelchair."

That airline always has security on board. They've killed something like 15 would be hijackers over the years and still average a hijacking every 5
