I am kind of scared Kevin is going to embarrass us (or at least me).

Probably. It's like his 18th gran fondo of the month. I'm assuming his legs are as big as tree stumps.

I worked on putting together video from my trip between Lake Louise and Jasper back in June. Finished product is here if anyone wants to have a watch.

Good luck on the ride tomorrow guys.
I don't think I'd be able to keep up on my hybrid.

25 kph over that distance in the foothills is too much for me, I did RTCC twice and it was a challenge. I'm more of an urban rider and I have the store to run tomorrow. Have fun!

You'll see what these chicken legs can do.

Next time we'll do a Tour de Calgary route in the city and take out time. Maybe turn it into a bit of a bike pub crawl...

Fun morning ride. My legs are dead. Time for a nap before the brats get home.

A little more elevation than we planned but still a lot of fun. The weather started perfect and then the wind... At least the tailwind for the last 7km was good.

We'll definitely have to do another. We'll get CP Cycling Club kits designed for next time. I know Bigtime wants to be a MAMIL.

Lots of fun, thanks guys. I'll try to avoid falling over next time. Just finished bandaging myself.

I definitely did not average 30kph on this ride. KTrain kicked all of our asses. Maybe Strava is a lot quicker to auto pause than your Wahoo Bolt which lowered your average?

Yep, drove a few cars up in the morning and then dropped them off and drove back to LL. So didn't get started on the first day till like 3:30pm unfortunately. Starting in Canmore was just a bit too far for us to do in 4 days.

Strava screws up sometimes. We can blame the tumble for the wrong data. No one was averaging 30kph in that wind. You rolled in abut 5-10 minutes after I did, only slightly cursing me for picking the route.

yesterday I rode in south bragg creek and found the riding to be quite good.

I rode snagmore, which is decent, and then rode on some XC ski trails (elbow, iron creek and then some of sugar daddy). Managed to do about 15k with 300m of climbing, which is quite similar to bragging rights and merlin.

could have done more laps of the XC ski trails to put on more easy km's. these XC trails would be good ones for new mtn bikers. and who does not like ripping down double track?
