All good. Certain thoughts can be interpreted differently by different people. My point was that potholes are very common and excessive here. There are some communities where the residents chip in and try to repair them themselves. It's a very short-lived solution. Considering the temperature only fluctuates about 9 degrees for an annual high and low there really is no excuse for it.
I did live in Calgary before here and do remember the potholes.
Please feel fortunate that you live in such a great place that this is even a topic of discussion.
By the way, if I did try to take a picture of a pothole, I would likely be instantly hit by a taxi. But that's another topic.
