Star Wars Battlefront

Anyone else picked it up yet? It's pretty good. Instructions a little lacking but fairly easy to figure out. Can't wait to get home and play it online.

It is a little more 'arcadey' then BF1942 and you move slower. Takes a GOOD 3-4 hits to kill someone. No spawn times (on single player anyway). Runs pretty smooth on the ol' work computer which isnt really built for playing games.

Tonnes of maps and a few different campaign styles to play. Hopefully there isnt any bugs online. I havent found any yet in single player.

I just finished downloading it today but haven't got a chance to play yet. Is there a death star map??

No Death Star map, but there is an Endor level where the Rebels have to destroy the shield generator.

The Hoth map is, as expected, pretty cool, and surprisingly I actually enjoyed a lot of the prequel levels (although I absolutely hated Episode I and barely tolerated Episode II). I suppose what makes them cool is that you can play as a Destroyer Droid, complete with being able to transform into a ball and deploy shields.

And being able to kill Jar Jar many times over has its own charms.

I've seen a few comercials, but I can't really figure out what kind of game it is. Is it like a first person shooter or what????

The prequels are soooo BAD!!! i have to show feces for it :doo:
however if you can kill Jar Jar, that makes up for all of it.

Yes it's a first person shooter, but it's great because you get to drive all the vehicles and fly the planes. woo woo woo.

Cool, if you get to use all the vehicles, then I'm probably gonna pick it up. I've heard it was gonna a pretty cool game, but that's about it.

Yes even though i downloaded it, I'm still going to buy it since you can't play multiplayer online with the cracked version. Nothing beats killing your friends online. hehehe

For xbox xbconnect simulates the ilink and they have servers you can play on for fre...

From [snip], but they have like 4 different links. it's the battlefront reloaded thats 2.27gigs.
