Oilers are supposed to be cup contenders? lol.
Outplayed and barely beat a blown up Flames team.

Oh well. Zero points is huge where we are at, so whatever.

Can't wait to watch a well balanced team dismantle the Oilers in the playoffs like always.

Always so satisfying.

Flames played really well. Just don’t have the talent. But hell of an effort.

McDavid looked awful (for McDavid).

Never like losing to the Coilers. But, it's always amusing to see the "self-appointed Stanley Cup Champions" need the ref's help to beat a team that's not in the playoffs this year...

I enjoyed that game. Was a bit like watching the Young Guns on a good day: effort was there, some nice plays, just don't have any game-breaking skill to finish it off.

Hopefully this result helps them find a couple of players who can bring that in future.

Pretty blah

Grease are trash, can’t see them taking 4 of 7 off of any half decent team

Big 0 points, too bad Montreal and Ottawa also took the night off

Very generous of the officials to pull the whistles out when the Flames were tilting the ice.

This is borderline WWE levels of scripting.

Loved that Anderson pulled a Corey Perry on Draisaitl.

I hate that team. Good for getting up for it, effort was there.

Not upset at all. Flames outplayed them but the Oilers just have more skill and depth right now. Picard outplayed Markstom and that was the difference.

I only wish the Flames played angrier and made life a little harder for the Oilers. I wouldn’t hate it to see some Oilers banged up after this game but the Flames roster is very soft right now.

Good result for draft position.

Hate the Oilers sooo much. Never feels good losing to them, let alone this version with their pedo owner and a bunch of abusive losers on the roster.

But hard not to notice that the flames seem to be cementing that 8th draft slot and free falling towards that next group of picks 5-7. This is a real good draft at the top end and am starting to sense the flames might be able to add a cornerstone here when not long ago it was looking like a 14th or 15th pick well into that second tier.

Silver linings and all that.

I know it's BOA, but I still wasn't that invested in a win here.

Oilers will be cut from the dance early by one of the more complete teams in the west anyways. We know that, and their fans deep down know it too.

What matters is the Flames give MTL, OTT and ARI the best opportunity to catch them. One step closer.

The Oilers are definitely not going anywhere in the playoffs. They might get by LA if they luck into them first but they are done after that for sure.

Follow the recipe.

The 4th line was actual ass tonight too, Greer/Rooney just didn’t have it.

Puck management on the breakouts and through the neutral zone was baaaad too.

Time to extend the losing streak now.
