GP_Matt makes his "tweet" post. A few minutes later, Mazrim edits. Then a few minutes after that GP_Matt provides his full explanation.

This has to be all considered intentional. And probably about triggering an ability. Ie. did he trigger an immunity which caused him to be revealed?

Ok, I am more worried that we get to a point where we are going to lynch and then suddenly everyone panics and unvotes. Just a reminder, we have until 10pm tonight to make a decision here.

I doubt mazrim will be able to comment. If you look at game one when people had to post funny maz didn't say anything.

Why does someone with a power do this? We were about to lynch anyways unless this is gp Matt's power and he is using it to make him look more guilty as a last ditch effort to get the vote off him (not sure if this.makes sense. )

This only works if matt is mafia rd is town and the whole thing was an accident

So either Matt used some sort of power on himself to prove some sort of identity or role;

OR

Someone else saw that we were all waiting for Matt to respond before bringing down the hammer and used a power to identify Matt's role

First option seems much more likely due to the timing of the events per Delgar.

But, we have no idea what "Member of the Eternals" even means and if that is pro-town or not. So, however the power was used, the result was likely not what was expected.

We just have to remember that dispite this development, we absolutely need to lynch someone by the deadline tonight.

My running theory is Matt saw he was going to die and he triggered his ability.

This caused Mazrim to edit the list to disclose that Mazrim is the member of a group.

If there are townies who are members of this group, they already know what this is, but I'd guess the disclosure is part of a compromise--- you get this power BUT... your identity as a member is exposed. Which means membership has disclosed him as a baddie.

At this point we could stick with RD, or go to squiggs, I wouldn't recommend voting Matt because if he is mafia he may have triggered a one-time save ability. If he's town, who knows.

I don't quite understand this part. Why would we let a mafia member walk and chance ousting a townie in his spot? Dead scum is dead scum. The sooner we kill them, the better.
