Default Whats up with Emile Poirier?

1 goal and 5 points in 14 games?

This plus his poor performance at camp this year... I know lots of people were excited with his season last year and were slotting him into our top 6 in the near future.

Should we be worried?

Not at all. He has been modifying his offensive game, which was a drastic change from how he used to do things. Plus he's been on the receiving end of a lot of bad luck and is now hurt just as he was coming around. If he continues to struggle through this time next year, then get worried a bit. Now it's all about making adjustments, same as Hamilton went through in his first month in Calgary.

CG thanks for the information. I am still a bit nervous about this production as I see him as our best forward prospect. I do hope he starts to turn it on this year.

2 goals tonight, has to be a relief for him. Hopefully he can get going and bring the Heat along with him. They need his offense to be successful.

his 2 goal night is not a surprise to me. He's been on the verge of breaking out for a while. If he had better luck over the past two weeks, he could have 5 more goals than he does now.

I hope he gets it together. This was a player I hoped would be a regular on the Flames at some point this season (after they moved Jones/Hudler and any other veterans). Still could happen

Ive never like Klimchuk for whatever reason. Reminds me of a smaller weaker version of Greg Nemisz. The only good trading Iginla and Bouwmeester did was making the young guys win enough down the stretch to put the Flames in position to draft Monahan rather then pick one of Lindholm or Drouin over him.

We will see, my fellow Chiefs fan. I think Kilmer and emile still have a very good chance of being NHL players/
