The San Jose Sharks are fighting for their playoff lives and it didnt get any easier on Saturday when star forward Tyler Seguin went down with an injury and will miss the remainder of the regular season. He is questionable to start the first round of the playoffs if the Sharks hang on and make it. But that is going to be much more difficult now that Seguin is out.
Seguin has been the most consistent Shark all year and has 35 goals in 76 games.
What will GM Penney do to help fill the massive hole that Seguin leaves? Will Ovechkin step up and put this team on his shoulders? Will Taylor Hall continue to put up the points without Seguin?
The Sharks currently sit in 7th in the West, 2 points up on 8th place Minnesota and 7 up on 9th place Dallas with 7 games left to play.
It is going to be an interesting couple of weeks.
