Season 7 was really good to me and had some really strong episodes, it also had some really heart felt episodes like Take me out to the Ball Game and The Seige of AR-855. Honestly the weakest moment over the last 5 years was about the final 10 minutes of the last episode.
The only thing I didn't like about the last two seasons was how they just butchered Gul Dukat. He was so cool and sinister for the whole series and then his storylines went completely ridiculous. To the point of becoming a fake Bajoran and starting a fake romance with Kai Wynn to read an evil book and release the Pah Wraiths and... sigh.
Fortunately, Weyoun emerged and was an awesome villain.

I still loved the changeling when we saw a Weyoun get his neck broken
She sighed and said "We'll you just killed the last Weyoun" then the war ended.
Actually one of the best Vorta's was I think in season IV when Sisko found the crashed dominion ship with a wounded Founder hidden on board.

I've been rewatching the Waltz and Pale Moonlight is still the best episode of the series, but the Waltz where Sisko gets stranded on a planet with Dukat on his way to his war trial was amazing and incredible.
He was basically driven insane by his choices in the past, he believed himself to be a hero but reconciled himself to the idea that he was irredeemable and evil and it was time to become that.
Amazing episode.
The episode where Sisko is a magazine writer and we get the theory that this entire series was a story that he was written was so well done.

I kind of wish that Axanar would have been given a go ahead for development instead. That trailer, the prelude to was excellent and I liked the story line idea

Axanar settled its lawsuit with CBS on January 20th. They are allowed to make a 30 minute film, which they are going ahead with. CBS thought to neuter the project by forcing them to cut down from a 100 minute runtime, but I have a strange feeling that this group may do a better job with 30 minutes than CBS with a full 22 episode season of their 'official' project.
If CBS was smart, they would have simply found a way to pull Axanar into the fold, and produced a TV event. They actually were worried primarily with being overshadowed, but at least we are getting a taste of what could have been.

Rainn Wilson has been added to the show as Harry Mudd... I like it. He seems pretty smart and choosy with his parts so maybe he read the script and it's good.

I've seen a lot of little things and spoilers that are making me go ugh.
The picture of the klingons where they basically look like the Orcs from Lord of the Rings. The Klingon ship that looks like a alien penis covered in fungus.
Even Harry Mudd now makes me wonder. They mentioned him on Enterprise as well.

I'd be very surprised if that's what the Klingons looked like -- it's so far off there couldn't really be any reasonable explanation for it.
Unless they're thinking of this as an in-between from the smooth head guys of the original series and the ridge-head guys ever since. There is a canon explanation for that, not impossible there's an in-between. Would still be dumb though.
It's more likely a whole new race of aliens (maybe the antagonists?) and it's been misconstrued or even had people purposely misled to believe it's Klingons to get website hits.
