Just to mention- Travis has been helping me with buying a "new build" house as well as getting my current house ready to sell. I've already had one issue come up that could have been a deal breaker, and Travis was able to come though for me in a big way.

As he mentioned, make sure you speak to him before you go into the show homes.

In regards to the original question, there isn't too much in terms of negotiation for free upgrades. With the market the way it is the builders aren't hurting for customers. However there were a few different upgrades that the builder was offering as a "promo." Works out to be a few thousand.
