What a clown. Flipping your bat Down 4 en route to losing your third straight game against that team. I hope they plunk him hard tomorrow and the Jays do nothing in response.

Wow what an idiot.
Way to go Jose. That home run really mattered.

NOTHING drives me more crazy in sports than arrogant ass-hats celebrating meaningless personal achievements in blow-outs.

Get off my team Jose.

We can't afford to lose a starter to suspension over this BS.

He's going to have a hard time finding a place to play next year. Other teams don't want him in their clubhouse.

Bautista Jr. (Stroman) is pitching tomorrow. He will for sure retaliate. He's a hot head too.

Won't happen but I would love to see his ass DFA'd.
Dude is barely hitting over .200. What on earth gives him the right to flip his bat in a blowout?

Lost in this Jose talk is what Pillar said tonight. After a strikeout he called the pitcher a f----t. Jays need to suspend him.

Ugh. That''s even uglier.
What an embarrassing night.
Teams lose. That''s fine.
But this garbage? Tough to root for a team with crud like that going on.
I agree - suspend him.

Haha. Last place team, getting your asses whipped for the third game in a row by another garbage team and you flip your bat after a meaningless homer?

I got the last bat flip. That made sense with everything at stake and everything that had happened that inning, but this? I say again, haha.

Jose might have bat flipped on purpose. Take some heat off of Pillar. Pillar is loved in the room.

Pillar's apology seems sincere, though I still think there should be some consequences. That stuff just don't fly

Speaking to reporters after the game, Pillar called the moment "stupid and immature".
"...I think it just stems from a little frustration in myself and just the way this series has been going," Pillar told reporters after the game. "Obviously I'm going to do whatever I've got to do to reach out and apologize and let (Motte) know he didn't do anything wrong. It was all me."

Jose's apology though? Meh. Just the same crap from him. Doesn't explain why the hell he did it.

"(I) basically just let them know that I wasn't trying to show up anybody and hopefully it's in the past...it has nothing to do with (frustration) but it was definitely not something that was fitting for the moment," explained Bautista.

I think if Pillar reaches out to Motte around the cages tomorrow it'll pass.

Bautista is definitely getting beaned.

Pillar may luck out on his BS slur. NHL playoffs in Canada, NBA playoffs in IS. No one may pick up on it and may GT swept under the rug.

I'm not surprised by Jose, but WTF Pillar? Disappointing.

One of many who is too boring; thinks that there should be rules regarding grammar in custom user titles, and also makes moderators wonder if there is a charachter limit here. I mean come on- you would think that would be a limitation in the software

On Pillar: apology accepted, but still needs to be suspended for at least today. At the very least just to remove one potential angle for retribution.

On Bautista: Just part of what makes him who he is. I'm sure the Braves will throw at him today, words will be had, and hopefully that has it.
