The eye for an eye, vengeful Old Testament culture is the world I want to live in . . . .

I would love this type of punishment over here for all sorts of crime.

rape = castration
child molestation = castration and gen pop
murder = paralysis

A punishment where the person who commited the act has to actually live with a physical reminder of their act - I love the idea.

Why waste tax payer money in prisons for certain types of people, they dont deserve it.

I love how Amnesty Intl pipes up and comments on the sentence, and stays silent on the crime "Amnesty International is outraged by the sentence: ”Paralyzing someone as punishment for a crime would be torture,"
Why not move to Saudi Arabia?
Sounds like your kind of place

I think he meant General Population, as in where the majority of inmates are held and I'm sure they wouldn't be gentle with child molesters.

Genital popping sounds painfully horrific. Even worse than the paralysis thing.

Those 2 experiences sometimes come as a package deal. As I was fortunate enough to experience while laying on my stomach for 3 weeks.

I'm actually not totally against corporal punishment for a sentence depending on the crime. Our fear of pain and physical harm is the most primitive and natural deterrent there is. I think it's a much better alternative to letting out violent offenders to make room for vandals and car thiefs. Cheaper too. If someone gets caught breaking into a car, I see no problem with a good caning.

It's not like people don't get raped and beaten in prison. By caning them in lieu of a long sentence, you'd probably be doing them a favour in the long run.

Permanently disabling someone really wigs me out though. I don't think I could get behind that.

I'm wondering if punishments like this are more for deterring anyone else thinking about stabbing their friend as opposed to the actual punishment.
