A lot of grey area in your world when it comes to tossing elderly women around?

reguardless of the age/sex/race/etc don't you want to know the whole context of the situation before passing judgement? Seems pretty reasonable to me. Was she just standing there? Was she kicking somebody that was on the ground in the face? Nobody can tell from a 6 second video. While throwing old people to the ground for no good reason is "not cool", we cannot make a call based on that snippet of information.

Shouldn't there be? there is an infinite number of possible things that could have occurred prior to this perfectly cropped video being posted on the Internet. Granted it looks like he over reacted and was overly rough with this woman but that's what six second videos are for. You're a pretty excitable guy Ruby - hope you get a good discount on pitchforks and torches.

If she was doing something wrong the police are supposed to detain her and explain the reason. They didn't, she got back up and the police did not detain her indicating she was not breaking the law, therefore the police broke the law assaulting her without legal cause. But that only seems to matter for citizens these days.

Watch the clip again, how can you say "they did not detain her"? Heck the police are the ones getting her up. She doesn't even get up before the video ends so how can you tell from the vine that they didn't explain to her the reason.

She wasn't detained because that's what the other people that were there said.

so hearsay, not proof. Now if the video taker happens to have the rest of his video that shows that, then fair enough, but they cut a 6 second vine.

There is a whole lot more going on at that site then what that 6 second video clip is show.

Officers that are ordered to be there to keep the peace on what is suppose to be a peaceful protest are bsing verbally abused, spit on and who knows what else. Who knows what directions were given in the 30 seconds, 1 minute or 5 mins before that clip.

Not saying it's right or wrong, but there is definitely no context to the video.

Oh come on, dont be an idiot.

If no one ever smashed someone's face into things to get what they wanted then it'd take forever to get things that we want.

There is no easier way. Trust me. I checked.
