Nystrom looks like he would be an awesome trash talker. I wish I could hear what he was saying sometimes.

By the way, has anyone ever wondered how Iginla is at trash talking?

... and likewise, Sundin seems to like to trash talk too. I wonder what kinds of things Sundin says being that he's senior and all. Also, doesn't Sundin look like he's got the nastiest breath everytime he opens his mouth...

Backes would wipe the floor with both those guys, here's hoping he does so next game.
Wow, you have no idea what you're talking about. It's like me saying Iginla is a terrible hockey player.

One was said on the ice and caught/recorded 'accidentally'. The other was said to the media after they had been sought out.

Personally I see nothing wrong with it, it happens at every level from Beer League to the NHL. As long as they are threatening family, etc I think it is great and shows emotion. How do we know Backes wasn't asking how Andrea was or sad something else to start it?

Seth Green: Did you tell Sloan I said 'What up"

E: Yeah, Seth she said 'what up' back.

Seth Green: Really? Thats it? Well tell her I said, 'what up back'

What are you serious? Kesler and Burrows arent even in the same league as Iginla. Burrows is a gutless bitch.

If it was something that happened regularly, I'd agree with you. They both play their heart out(see the 5 on 3 PK). They bring it each and every night and just because they chirp they're a bunch of pussies? Every player has a game where they're frustrated and end up making a stupid decision. Also, to the "trash-talking" part...I'm SURE it happens every game.

Touche, I bet it sure taught Keith to grow a mullet. I still can't stand Burrows. Kesler I bugs me less though.

If you can't stand Burrows, that means he is doing his job.

I'd say if you pull another person's hair ONCE, you're a coward and an embarrassment.

We are surprised why? This sort of stuff happens all the time in the playoffs.

Whatever, happens all the time. Growing up and playing I heard everything and said many things myself, so no big deal. Its hockey.

There always seems to be a couple players on the nucks who behave like this. I find Bieska always tries to act a lot tougher than he is after the whistle goes and there's a ref in between him and the other player.

This series could get ugly, i have a feeling it might be no holds bar from here on out.

I thought about that too. It's not that I'm morally opposed to this sort of talk but I thought it was probably a taboo topic from a Canucks standpoint right now.

Yeah, Bieksa is actually the smallest defensemen but he acts really cocky and tough. He made the team pretty much by knocking out Fedor Fedorov at a bar and Burkie let him come on the team because of his toughness. I'm not a fan of Bieksa though. Never liked him pinching up into the play letting the other team have a 2 on 1. I really wished he was traded at the trade deadline.
