Default Fallout 4

There was another 3gig patch recently. Haven't checked it out yet.

Edit: Apparently it is all changes to Survival mode. See: New Vegas survival mode, just on steroids.

Also, robots can be vendors and junk now.

Wasteland Workshop is purely cosmetic, but allows you to do a lot more in your settlements. They added a concrete building option, as well as some cool powered doors. They also added an extensive custom lettering system which is just fun. A fusion generator (100 power) as well as some new lights make setting up a settlement just a little bit easier. To top it all off you can set traps to attract wasteland beasts that you can eventually tame, and furthermore force to battle in an arena. It's really fun to force Marcy Long to fight a Deathclaw.

Overall I enjoy it and everything makes setting up a settlement a little easier and gives a little more curb appeal.

Decided to play this again when I realized all the DLC was finished. Man, what a fun game.. almost forgot. The Far Harbour DLC is fantastic with more great characters and adventures. Despite picking up a Titanfall 2, Rise of Tomb Raider, and a couple more games during various Black Friday sales I'm just back at it with Fallout.

I did far harbour too, the latest dlc seems ok but I haven't gotten very far. A lot of the enemies are complete bullet sponges, but it's alright. Will try to finish! Have been playing dirt rally alot despite having battlefield 1

I have heard absolutely fantastic things about Far Harbour.

Does it fix some of the issues that the base game had?

I've been going back and forth on whether I should get the DLC or not, I've got a game that's probably half way through the storyline.

Seems like the consensus is the DLC is worth it?

My kids snapped my disc somehow. I was halfway through Far Harbour.

Now was the Nuka Cola DLC?

I did the quests (which were good, and fun), but I never became a raider and took over settlements.

I spent a lot of time setting those damn settlements up, I wasn't about to let some Jet'd up psychos ruin it.

So for someone who just bought Fallout 4, is the Far Harbour DLC worth buying now, or later on? Does it enhance the base game?

I'd wait because there is a ton of stuff to do / levelling up before you even want to think about Far Harbour

For all you PC owners of Fallout 4 there is a high resolution texture pack being released for free by Bethesda. Be aware that you'll need an extra 58 GB of space.
