I'd be happy with either team winning. I think it will be San Jose though.

I always seem to flip flop on liking both of these teams. Sometimes I like them sometimes I hate them. So just hoping for some entertainment mostly. Although I'd like to see it stay in the west, and Thornton deserves one. Sharks in 7 I hope

This series will be a lot of fun. Lots of skill and pretty high energy hockey.

I am fine with either team winning, but I think the story favors Thornton, Marleau, and the Sharks.

I really, really, really want Thornton to win this. Either way, it should be a highly entertaining series.

Hmm, comes down to goaltending maybe? Honestly don't know who has the advantage there.

I'll go with Pens in 6

Will be a great series. Best part will be watching how two young goalies, who look like veterans, handle the pressure.

I think the way the Sharks have looked lately they're going to give the Pens defense a very tough time. Hope it's a long series either way. The Pens really need Malkin to have a big series.

Interesting that if SJ can pull this out it will be Larry Robinson's 10th cup (player, coach, and management). That is crazy..

I added the schedule to the OP. Way too many off multiple off days in there, what a shame.

Agreed...just stupid to have that many off days.

Start on Monday and play every other night...so simple.

This is why fans shouldn't freak out too much in October/November (even though it's hard not to at times.)

On Jan. 9, the Penguins (19-16-5, 43) were 11th in points in the Eastern Conference; the Sharks (18-18-2, 38) were 13th in the West.

It's great to see Jacques Martin reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in his career. It's been a long road for him.
