Exclamation [Video] Bennett 15/16 Highlights

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQLS4YrQq6M

Holy crap I didn't expect Bennett to have so many awesome highlights. 18 goals, 18 assists, but probably deserved a lot more of each. 4 goals called back to begin with, a lot of posts, and so many great plays from hard work that linemates didn't capitalize on unfortunately.

I think Bennett may be the player I'm most excited for on this team going forward. His play along the boards with the puck are already phenomenal. Just look at his assist to Colborne vs Pittsburgh when Crosby bit hard on the reverse along the boards, same with his assist to Frolik in Washington. Plus his physical game is already impressive, he's going to be a monster to try and contain.

Up next based on the last poll will be Brodie. When I post that one I'll run a new poll. Backlund, Gio, Dougie are the front-runners I bet.

Videos Completed This Off-Season:
Bennett
Gaudreau Part 1
Gaudreau Part 2
Monahan

Default [Video] Bennett 15/16 Highlights

Lots of unlucky plays for Bennett this year. This kid is going to be a star in the future once he frames out to his maximum potential and has better linemates to work with.

This highlight package was a joy to watch. What a beast Bennett is. Man, we are lucky to have this player.

Yeah, thanks AC! So many people enjoy these videos and appreciate the work you put into them. I'm really excited for Bennett too, I think he's one of those guys that brings the intangibles. He strikes me as the type of guy that can elevate his play when needed, like in the playoffs. He's kind of like Johnny I suppose -- a big game player. Looking forward to next seasons highlight package already

Amazing Highlight Package.
As Usual.

I will add though there's one more play I loved from this season. The Puck Support + Tape-to-Tape pass here.

No point on that play but it is why Sam Bennett has to be a center in the future.

Great highlights and nice to see so many instances of Bennett being so hard on the puck and gritty.

Really think Mangiapane might make a good line-mate for Sam some day.

Why do we need a Tkachuk again when we have this guy? So awesome.

Agree with this, a b*stard line to play against in the future (hopefully).

Damn, Bennet hit so many posts and had tons of scoring chances, easily could have put up another 10-15 points last season. Video gets me excited to see what he can do next season, nice work AC and cool effects on the Bennet intro text.

Bennett is a fireball that energy translates into guys wanting to play harder.

I predict allot of top line duties this upcoming year. I think he puts on 10 pounds and then we see another player up there with Ferklund in the physicality department that scores more goals .

still glad the flames saw what was there regardless of all the neighsayors at the draft critical of him not being able to do 1 arm chinups witha busted shoulder.

Conroy said on the radio yesterday they knew hed need surgery and they would be without him for a year but watch out after he is back.

they were right.

I'm curious to see what size Bennett will show up at in training camp this year. You can tell that the skill and hustle are there, he just needs for his body to catch up.

1. I love how hungry he is every time he's on the ice.
2. I think moving him to RW gives us the #1 line in the NHL next season.

Be still my beating heart.

Also, hey AC - random request - but do you have any interest in making a wallpaper of your intro logo (font just saying calgary flames or something?), it's gorgeous.

Another thing I love about Bennett is that his goal celebration never over the top. He just raise his stick and a big grin on his face then celebrate with his teammates on the ice. Awesome!!
