Looks like Sutter came back to coach for a day.

All of Greer, Rooney, and Hunt are effective in a 4th line role, but to what end? Are we still fighting to get in?

One of the prospects should get to play with Coleman and Backlund as an audition for next year.

Do you mean that Coronato has a leg injury or that he shouldn’t be an extra?

Zary has expressed interest in being put at center, Conroy and Huska really need to give it a try. He's a smart player with good wheels

They need to create opportunities for Coronato and Pelletier. Play them now so next season they can hit the ground running

This might be dumb. But why not have a Pelletier - Zary - Coronato line at this point in the season?

Prefer Coronato over Kuzmenko on the Sharangovich line.

Make Hunt an extra, slide Mangiapane down with Greer & Rooney and put Coronato with Backlund and Coleman if you insist on keeping the other 2 lines the same.

Beats the hell out of having an over paid under performing veteran contract their ala Brower/Neal/Lucic. I love it.

I agree on Coronato. I think Pelletier has had a lot of oppurtunities and hasn’t really done much with it. I bet he’s going to get passed by other prospects like Hunt.

Disagree re: Pelletier. Pelletier's injuries derailed this season for him. He hasn't had a lot of opportunities at all. However, I think getting lots of playing time with the Wranglers is more important than 4th line time on the Flames.

Hunt isn't a prospect. He is 28.

He's very smart but I'll have to disagree with you on the good wheels part. He's worked on it but is still a very average skater, IMO.

I'm also trying to remember if Coronato was an emergency recall and if he needs to be sent down to activate Zary

He has shown bright spots lately with tenacity and a beauty goal and assist. Shouldn’t be the odd man out imo.

Would be nice to try him out there with Hubs and Sharan.

I would be curious to see

Huberdeau - Zary - Sharangovich
Pospisil - Kadri - Mangiapane
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato

I like it. Team is obviously still trying to win which is a tact we can expect until they're eliminated. Everything we know about the philosophy of this new management group aligns with the concept of rebuild while never embracing a loser mentality. It makes sense to me...

We will see all the experimental stuff in 5 or 6 games time, no need to worry. A night watching won't hurt Coronato nor would sending him back down to ramp up for his playoffs.
