They have to say that as the Flames and Rogers would not be pleased if the Flames radio guys are telling fans it's over which is a reason to tune out. Maher would consider them in the playoff race right down to the day they were mathematically eliminated as it's what a good company man has to do.

Had a dream Flames went undefeated in December. No joke. I had a dream and it was xmas and the flames had not lost a game.
Also don't overdue cold medication, can't make for a trippy experience.

Hate to say it, but I think this is going to be an ugly game. Not only do Benn and Seguin seem to absolutely feast on the Flames, the Flames are playing some atrocious defence this year. Not looking forward to it.
But hey, you still have to show up and play the game, and anything can happen.
