I always figure game 4 is the most important. Going in it's always 3-0 or 2-1, and a team is gonna sweep, take a stranglehold at 3-1 or tie it up.

Yup. 4 of 6 points in the last 3 games is good. But 6 of 8 is better.

Hahaha!
I'm listening to the TEAM 1040 and just heard Blake Price say that Michael Ferland is Derek Dorsett, but maybe with just a little more skill. And then he quickly corrected himself and said no, Ferland is not more skilled than Dorsett.

It's funny listening to all these media types prattle on about the flames. So cute, talking when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. A lot of it sounds like stuff fans would say, shame they don't hold themselves to a higher standard.

The problem with Canucks Org, the media and the fan base is just an absolute sense of arrogance and entitlement. Honestly you would think the last few years would show these guys some humility, but nope. Still beaking there mouths and showing no respect to there opponent whatsover.

As to the quote I posted above, I think the funniest thing about this is that while Sekeres may be technically correct (and that is debatable), he seems wilfully blind to the truth implied within his declaration, and that is that the Canucks are a really shallow team.

Seriously? The Flames have way more depth than the Canucks, on F. That guy needs to read a book

In the mind of the Vancouverite, there are two groups of people in this world: those who live in Vancouver, and those who don't yet but wish to. The latter group comes in a few different variations (those who are almost in Vancouver but maybe haven't saved enough money yet, those who are still a ways off, those who maybe only subconsciously or latently want to be there but haven't experienced awakening yet, etc).
This sort of mindset understandably extends to, and permeates within, the Canucks organization.

Can I just say how much I'm appreciating both Bollig and Engelland during this series?

Oh my god. This is awesome.
Blake Price has now very soberly posited that the Canucks replace either Chris Higgens or Shawn Mathius for game #4 with ...................
Sven Baertschi.
"The Canucks are no worse with Baertshi in the lineup." Yes, that is a direct quote.

Really? I thought Higgins was one of the better players for the Canucks in the series.

Who better to add some grit to the lineup?

I think a few of the players have said this in their post game. Do you guys think it is s a running joke amongst the guys? Kind of like "Get Pucks Deep"?
Regardless, I laugh every time.
Let's go Flames and screw Hughson!

Good lord. I can't imagine 19,000 fans in red chanting in unison, "Baertschi sucks! Baertschi sucks!". Poor guy will probably need therapy for months...

Look I liked Baert, I think he's a very skilled kid.
But a series like this will badly expose him.
Plus you can bet that every single Flames will make it their mission to embarrass him.

I actually sincerely hope that the Canucks do not call up Baertschi—and I think that there is precious little possibility that it actually could happen. My feelings have nothing to do with any concern whatsoever about his "impact" on the game, but rather because I just do not see how he doesn't get totally killed out there in his first or second playoff game in this series.
He's extremely immature, and has some entitlement issues, but honestly, there are likely no 22-year-old kids that deserve the punishment he would certainly endure, both from the fans at the Dome, and from the freight train that characterised the Flames forecheck last game.
