Default Speaking in Schools?

Maybe someone here could point me in the right direction, but I am interested in speaking to students about money, investing, the stock market, etc. I hear all the time about how this doesn't take place in school today, and I would like to try to make a difference.

If there are any teachers here who might be interested or could put me in touch with someone to get things going, let me know.

You'd need to look at High Schools - things like compound interest and finances are taught in Math 10, 20, 30, and in CALM (Career and Life Management) 20 - Grade 11.

I'm in an Elementary, or else I'd definitely be interested. I can ask around and maybe some friends have a lead on something like that!

Yeah I figured that CALM would be the ideal venue. This came up when I was teaching my kids about the stock market (elementary age) and my wife who was a teacher said I should really look into this though!

Try volunteering with Junior Achievement. They have an Investment Strategies program for grades 8-11.
