Default LF: Pallet Removal/Recycling

I am looking to have 20-40 pallets a month picked up from the back of my shop in the SE. Does anybody here do this or can you recommend who your company uses? I am having a hard time finding somebody in town that will take these pallets away.

I don't think so. Just standard shipping skids.

I didn't even know they made them out of hardwood. Why would they do that?

IDK, strength? I forwarded your OP to someone that I know uses pallets and has asked me, in the recent past if I have seen any, or to be on the look out.

I was asked to ask you if they were "hardwood"... just a middle man with no clue really...

I'm to assume that hardwood pallets are more common and not what the FIL is looking for.

Actually, depending on the country they originated, it can happen. I had a shipment arrive on a mahogany pallet just recently.
