Picking up mario kart after work today. Got it on pre order from EB when they were having that crazy trade in promotion.

I never played it on Wii U so excited to try it out!

Man you are in for a treat. Absolute gem, best in the series by far (IMO). The music is fantastic too.

I'm buying it again and I already played the hell out of the Wii U version.

I was actually looking at my still-vacant friend list on my Switch, and thinking that maybe some CP members want to become "friends" so you can whup my ass on Mario Kart.

I don't have any real world friends with a Switch yet, so CP could fill that void between real life and random internet strangers. I would imagine that we don't want to put our friend codes on here (or maybe there is no harm?), so should we perhaps send each other PMs if there is any interest in befriending one another?

Eh, it's a friend code, not some username type thing that you might use everywhere else. I doubt there's much of an issue to post them here.

Thanks. I was thinking the same thing, but wasn't sure if spam bots scanned the interwebs for nintendo codes or something like that.

At some point over the weekend I'll post mine if that's something that people are interested in doing.

There might be bots scanning for codes, but they don't actually offer any access to anyone's account, so the worst thing that'll happen is that you'll get friends requests from garbage accounts.

I may post a bunch in this thread, but I don't actually have a Switch! I'd post my Wii U friend code but I doubt that would be very helpful at this point in time.

I was pretty jealous about not having a system to play Puyo Puyo Tetris, so I'm settling by getting the SNES Puyo Puyo 2 (same ruleset as PPT!) and pulling out Tetris DS.

I'm in the same boat as you, in fact I don't think I've ever played a Nintendo console online so I'm not ever sure how it works. I'm totally down with exchanging friend codes and getting some games in though

I was blown away by how good it looks at 1080p, just by upping the res and adding in some anti-aliasing it looks like a brand new game

I'll post my friend code in here later this evening, once I have the game. Maybe we can get something going tonight (sometime after 10) or tomorrow evening.

I've been playing Tetris online and been really impressed. Super fast to connect and lightning fast matchmaking. Mario Kart online was decent on the Wii U too, could only be better on Switch. Still no voice chat but that's alright.

Man Mario Kart is excellent in Switch. It's crazy to be playing games that look this good on a fully mobile platform.

I have Mario Kart for the Switch. What should I be doing? Is there some sort of progression/single player mode that I can play to unlock things? It seems like everything has already been unlocked.

Play the Grand Prix cups, get coins to unlock more carts, wheels and parachutes.

Finally got around to putting on my screen protector today, great product. I had it slightly off the first try but was able to pull it off no problem with only about 2/3rds stuck and adjust, the adhesive is really nice to work with. They suggest 24 hours before playing an intense game like Zelda to let the glue set, but played around in the UI a bit and the protector looks just as good as the original screen.

The Ozrly tempered glass one. I was one of the ones that ordered it originally, had it shipped from the UK, never showed up, and they refunded my order.
