It's funny, because sunbreaker is definitely needing a nerf, but through Iron Banner, I felt like I was killed much more often by Stormcallers.
Gunslinger doesn't seem to be able to hold its own against the three new subclasses, which sucks because I love playing gunslinger, and I'm not great with shadowshot.
I've forced myself to switch from Bladedancer to Gunslinger just so I can deal with Sunbreakers.
I find Stormcallers are pretty easy to deal with if you take the right angles. Generally, a Stormcaller is a pretty linear target, so if you position correctly, they are easy to headshot with a high impact sniper.
Titans....unless I get my LiTC bullet on my Eirene, I can't take them down, so I save my GG until I hear a Titan activate the hammer, and then try to position by a wall to get my shot in and then duck behind cover.
I've also found nightstalker to be underwhelming in crucible. I use it all the time in PVE for the utility, but PVP is just painful....and I can't bring myself to use the glitch.

I also had a fun match where there were four nightstalkers, each camping a control point and spamming their tethers. Hammers are one thing, those idiots were downright cheaters. I hope their whole crew got banned hard, though I'm not counting on it.
Yesterday I tried a rift match in which the other team picked up the light and then the 3 hunters following him proceeded to spam tethers as he ran and capped the objective untouched 5 times. It was impossible to do anything other than die so yes, as much as hammers can be difficult the tether exploit is much more concerning.
So who's around on the 23rd afternoon to raid hard mode?
Sounds good, but given that I've only done the normal raid twice I'm not geared up at all. Probably not going to attempt hard mode till I get a little more gear
This was a 3v1. Didn't get the whole clip, but sniped the first guy from in close, got the second with grenade / primary, and the third to finish it off.
These three were from the same game. Really liking the Eirene sniper. Can't wait to get one with LiTC and a better scope.

I think last night was a personal record for me. Two raids in one night- King's Fall and Atheon lol. Atheon dropped like a sack of bricks, but will the Gorgons ever stop being frustrating?? That took us a while, even on normal last night. Talk about rusty heh.
Scooped a 310 knucklehead yesterday in the raid, which is awesome. First 310 exotic armor for me, and while its a monster moreso in PvP, it raises my light a ton in PvE should I attempt the hard raid this weekend (old helmet was only 296).
RNGesus was finally kind to me - wooo!

Ok. Anduril, that breaker with the Hunter at the end of that clip is outstanding. Awesome use of the map, great lock down of the heavy, and hilarious use of the emote. 10/10.

I don't have a team, but I'm sure I can find a PUG.
My lack of Spindle and ToM might hinder me though...don't have the time to grind out shards for ToM, and couldn't get the Spindle before the nerf.
I have all 310 weapons though, so it shouldn't be a problem.

Finished up to Oryx and stopped. Got 5 drops across two characters from beginning to just before Oryx at about 310, 310, 311, 311 and 316.
Still not enough to bring me to 310. The RNG upon RNG in this game is maddening.

Everything leading up to it was basically the same. Could only really number 3 different mechanics that were different and only 1 different enough to make you wonder "what was that?" and try to figure out what was going on.
With the lack of anything different, both groups in the clan quickly moved to Oryx before most streamers. By that point, another small new addition coupled with the fact that the raid is now overleveling you (as usual) made it difficult enough to not want to bother slamming our heads against the wall repeatedly when there was no real achievement to be had. I'm not amazed at people who finished it as we were able to get half way but it brings back age old delta scaling that Bungie's relied on before. The moment you get closer to 310+ as a group, it's not an issue. Most normal mode runs take about an hour at most, generally less. Nothing in hard mode that would make it any different.
All in all, extremely disappointing that they thought this was acceptable as a hard mode, hiding behind a temporary light level wall. Given their history now with hard modes, it's not surprising that each of them have been so shallow.
Yeah, I stopped after war priest...
Got a 310 ghost and a 312 rocket, which I infused into my machine gun to bump it to 312.
So far it doesn't seem like hard mode is going go be much more difficult.
Still only 309 though.
