You guys still watching this?? This season has been amazing with last night's episode really kicking ass! Ghost Rider has been just pure awesomeness this season, along with the including of LMDs and the Darkhold.
I hate the weeks long hiatus that shows take. When it starts back up, I find I've forgotten a lot of what happened and need to google it to remind myself.
That was an interesting ending to the ghost rider episode last night and they pretty well shot right into the LMD last night with Aida killing the agent
I did laugh hard when Coulson was talking to Daisy about as an inhuman she should be the head of shield and Daisy laughed and said "Maybe the comic book version"

Watch it every week with my kiddo. This season has been pretty bad, definitely the worst so far. The LMD storyline suuuuuucks. Dropping Bobbie and English McAccentface for a non-existent spin-off didn't help either.
They're doing pretty well with the "WTF is Dr Wackjob going to do next" bend, but not as interesting as the Ghostrider stuff from earlier in the season.
I think they messed up getting rid of (well, at least pushing way back into the background) any looming Hydra threat. The watchdogs and senator stuff is boring. Needs to be more encompassing doom to justify Shield's existence, instead of just looking for a book.

I think they are kind of stuck on that one, since they are following along with the Marvel Universe on the big screen.
Hydra is pretty much done in the movies, so there isn't too much left for them to do on TV.
Maybe they will start to tie into some minor parts of the infinity gems somehow?
Hydra is done, they had an episode where Talbot and Coulson were basically eating popcorn and watching a big screen as Hydra was exterminated.
what was left became mercenaries that did some work for the Watchdogs.
The one thing that may have been tough for them were that the actoresses that played characters that they could get (Lady Sif, Peggy Carter and Colbie) have all moved onto other things.

I think they should followed the fall of Hydra with the rise of A.I.M.
They could have introduced it by way of the tech company where Robbie Reyes' uncle worked that turned that group into pseudo-ghosts. A.I.M. could also have been a good parallel with the LMD storyline and I think would be more interesting than the Watchdogs.

I like the pace that they have been going at. I feel like chasing Hydra for another x amount of seasons would have been a letdown.
I much prefer that they're exploring other parts of the Marvel Universe. I also like how they're changing it up every half season now. Ghost Rider was awesome. I really like Aida and the LMD stuff. And hey, if you're less intrigued, it'll be over in a few more episodes and they'll move onto something different next. Maybe they will explore AIM or HAMMER next. Maybe they'll further explore the Secret Warriors now that Daisy is back in the fold. Maybe they'll explore something more with Mace's serum.
