Default Outbound phone calls password lock on Androids?

Tried searching the Play store, didnt see anything stick out. Our toddler loves to play on our phones, and figured out the wonderful phone button. Now he is calling random contacts. Anyone know any app that asks for a PIN to be entered before the phone will dial out? Ofcourse a screen lock isnt applicable here.

Thanks!

My toddler plays on toddler lock. It's a lock screen that is also a paint app where they make shapes etc but can't exit even with the home button.

Why let a toddler play with a $4-500 phone? Heck buy him his own if its no issue lol.

Put it into airplane mode?

And Cheese, often it's worth the risk of the $4-500 to have a happy kid.

App Lock does the trick. You can lock out any app you want and disable / enable as needed.

I have a crappy LG pay/talk phone running Android and I can do it from settings, AFAIK.

On my phone - Settings >> call settings >> call barring >> all outbound >> set password/PIN. I have it disabled, obviously, but it would likely work for what you're describing. No idea, obviously, if your phone is capable of the same.

Without a multi-quote - Here's my answers.

The lock screen apps is an alright idea, but he likes to fumble his way through youtube videos of Kittens.

Why am I letting my Toddler play with a $500 phone. I'm guessing you either dont have kids or had kids before cell phones. He has my old Galaxy S1 he can play with - but it isnt the one we're playing with therefore it is stupid and wants ours.

airplane mode doesnt work - once you dial with it in AP mode - it asks if you want to disable AP mode - which he can just hit the phone icon button to do. We found out the fun way in the USA when he was calling people in the back seat.

Minnie - You win the prize - Call Settings within the Dialer had that setting. Although any password I enter it gets rejected. I will have to call Telus and see if maybe they have it locked down or something silly.
