I tried Travian before, got a little time consuming by the end. Especially if you're in a high lvl alliance.

I'd like a game where I could waste 4 or 5 hours on a lazy sunday if I had nothing to do, but I don't feel I have to get back to at any given schedule. Maybe just maintain a few times a week for a few minutes.

well this updates in real time so all your stuff keeps going even if your not online..... i wasted a few hours last night so other than that im not sure what happens if you just check it a couple times a day... ill let ya know how it goes today

Have you tried Runescape? There's a free version that's quite involved in itself, and you could waste a lot of time on, but if you want to do the higher stuff it costs, but you don't need to pay if you don't want.
