Lost Dog in Erin Woods
Hey guys,
I figured this might be a good place to get the word out. My dog ran away on Monday April 26 from a house in Erin Woods around 4:00pm. She's a small grey and white sheltie with a tan face, wearing a red collar with her name on it, is about 12 years old, and practically deaf. We've done everything we can think of up to this point to get spread the word, because every little bit helps. Please, if any of you are in that area keep an eye out, and if anyone should see her or picks her up or anything, the city and the SPCA have our contact information, so please contact them.
Thank you soooo so much.

If your dog is licensed, anyone that finds her will be able to call the city and obtain your contact info.
Hopefully she comes back - my dog spent an entire night on the lamb, but found his way back home on his own by 6am the next morning, I know how bad it feels to have a missing animal, when you finally give up the search at 12:30 at night.

My German Shepard went out for a leak early one morning and didn't come back....which was out of character.
Found her barking like crazy, at the front door of our old house
She was mad, she thought we went back to bed

I hope you find your dog. Shelties are the best.

When I was a kid our dog went missing for a week, but my parents did a tour of the city's animal shelters and found him in one.

Did you ever wonder why your dog was never "quite the same" ?
Good job Tron

I lost my dog in Saskatchewan last year; he was involved in a rollover on a country road and took off. Someone found him 3 or 4 days later in a gravel pit, wandering around hungry.
Glad your dog is ok, I know exactly how stressful it is waiting to see if he turns up.

Couple this happy ending story with some happy news about my favorite local sports team and I've got a recipe for a great day.
Happy to see it turned out good for you, the little mutts can work their way into your heart pretty darn good.

She does look so sad! I hope the pound hasn't ruined her. I can't believe I found her here of all places. Being a Flames fan seriously is the smartest thing I've ever done. Thank you all so much for your positive thoughts and concern!

I know that if my pup, (Mr. Wiggles/Mr. Smelltron/ Captain Barkstein.), got loose I'd be pretty concerned, good to know where to go if you need to. Don't even bother calling the spca or the city, just post on CP.

Nice job Tron_fdc.
I remember about 5 years ago I was driving home and saw a Golden Retriever walking himself along the side of the road with no one around... I pulled over and opened my door and whistled and he jumped right in and was very friendly/happy... like every Golden Retriever I met.
Took him home and called the number on his tag and the lady basically broke down crying on the phone she was so happy.
I'd probably bawl like a little girl myself if we lost our dog.
