Great job giving up momentum. Fantastic work
Drives me nuts when fans realize something is stupid as hell but the head coach seemingly can't

Lions deserved that game.
MOS should be fired. Ready to check out of this season already.

@bendersun:
O'Shea just told #cjob he gave #bombers Medlock the green light to go for the fake punt because the #leos had been leaving a guy wide open.

Would have worked if that receiver had turned around.

Gary Peters suspended 1 game for making contact with an official.
Quote:
The Canadian Football League announced Sunday that Edmonton Eskimos defensive back Garry Peters has been suspended for one game for contacting an official following play #64 in game 27 on Thursday, July 20 in Hamilton.
“Making contact with an official is clearly beyond the acceptable standards of conduct in the CFL,” said CFL Commissioner Randy Ambrosie. “Officials, who play such an important role in our game, must be treated with respect.”

Calgary running back Jerome Messam and defensive lineman Charleston Hughes and Edmonton quarterback Mike Reilly are the CFL's top performers for Week 5.

Looked like Harris's knee was down before he crossed the line.

Insanity....man it looked like Harris touched his knee down just by using the law of physics, but no way to say for sure.
Good for the Bombers though....has to be a complete confidence shatterer for the Als however.
Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory so to speak.

Well they bought the flop by the als receiver in the first quarter which was way more flagrant. Some things never change with cfl officiating.

clock management on the second to last drive by the Bombers was flawless. The ball was snapped just as time started ticking on every play. Als defence had let up somewhat, but still great execution by the offence. Gutsy run by Nichols to almost score the winning TD.

I like the CFL, but my main beef is how the clock does not run at the end of the game. Why? I suppose they want comebacks.
A team can suck for 58 minutes, but get second and third chances to get back in the game when the clock hardly runs at all. No need for clock management or time outs. No need to go out of bounds. You can still run the ball.
A hard-earned 12 point lead should be safe with two minutes left.
Time should not have more or less value depending on the stage of the game.
