I when he didn't stay with Mrs C, I said to my wife that i hope we see him again.

There is something about his character that I like.

While we were watching, I told my gf that I hope he comes back as a super ripped zombie killing machine.

There's no new episode tonight, is there? I just remembered five minutes ago. Now my Sunday night is hollow and empty.

Got burned by that too, remembered about 5 mins before show was supposed to start. What a crushing way to end a Sunday. Least we got our BB fix but FTWD was supposed to be the main event

I didn't know there wasn't an episode sunday night. I was out of town and came back last night and checked the PVR and didn't see it and freaked out.

I didn't realize how much I like this show.

The cavalry's arrived. They should have this all wrapped up in a couple of episodes.

I thought that was a good plot twist with the army holding them back home. I thought the story was going pretty fast and to go from normal life to apocalyptic world in 3 episodes would have killed the advantage this show has. Namely a look at the world before the original show.

I initially thought "oh come on, according to the old show the army would have killed them all". However his early in it maybe before the napalm started falling. That is what I am looking forward to. The false hope and the army losing control. Good episode.

That riot scene could have been filmed during the Vancouver riot as it looked eerily similar.

Good episode.

Then again, they took away Susan's husband because he was exposed to the "infected's blood." Now what did they do with him? Is he being treated, or executed in a discrete manor to avoid panic? When we see the soldiers shooting up the hospital where Rick was, were they trying to kill all of the infected? Meaning did they consider the hospital a hot zone, and didn't want anybody coming out to spread the virus?

I am trying to keep the two shows separate when I watch them. I find that last night at times I was like "close the door!!! Who doesn't close the door in a zombie apocalypse" But then I remember they have no concept of "zombies" or what is happening.

At this point I reckon they are holding people like Susan's husband to see if he "gets sick". At this early time i don't think they are killing people.

One thing I did like is the loading of the body in the back of the truck. They clearly have two NBCW dressed soldiers loading the body, but they were other unprotected troops helping. I laughed as I can see that happening.

Yep...so do I. He gets s**t done. When he blew away the neighbour, straight to head shot. No screwing around.

I found it VERY interesting when he said "It's already too late". It's like he knows something but how could he?

I want to know who/what his cousin is too, his daughter didn't seem too happy to find out he had called his cousin.

I got the sense that waiting for the cousin was a lie. There is no cousin - it was something he said to wait things out at the house overnight. And he intended to stay in the house with his family when everyone else was clearing out. Before the army arrived and turned everyone back.

I think it has more to do with his daughter saying "you said all our family was buried in El Salvador".

It appears he has experience with the army running things. You will note also, his wife said something along the lines of "your dad and I have been in worse situations".

His age would support this:
