I quite like it. I was never a big fan of the toothpaste one, although I was quite fond of the dark tail of the 1995-2005 livery, so that makes sense that I'd also like the new one.

glad they went dark underneath. I hate the trend of all white without cheatlines or anything.

The black mask makes the plane more dashing and mysterious.

The cockpit window mask is no doubt homage to the Canadian cartoon classic The Raccoons.

My only complaint is that the logo is under the windows, and not after the Air Canada.

Otherwise I think it's a nice update.

Love how on the website all the various airplane types are updated in the new livery but the 1900D https://www.aircanada.com/ca/en/aco/...ard/fleet.html

Right now flight 119 from Toronto to Calgary operating on Saturday will be one of the A321's in the new livery. Subject to aircraft tail change though.

It's not terrible. It's just not very good. I'd like more red, and the tail logo to be higher on the tail

I've flown on the Qantas retro 737s recently. They look gorgeous. Unfortunately not retro on the inside though so I wasn't able to smoke a cigar or stare at scantily clad stewardesses.

Looks pretty good in action! Would love to see it in person with a little wear and tear to really tell how it'll stand up.

If the blue on the bottom of Delta's birds is any indication, it's going to get beat up... and it'll happen fast. The engines get it the worst. The tails won't look so hot after about 18 months, either.

Just landed in YYZ and was parked at a gate right next to this bird... looks clean, but can't say I'm a huge fan of it.

Spoiler tagged in case they're huge.

Spoiler!

Number one take away here is that split scimitars look bad ass from inside the cabin.

The airplane equivalent of spelling your name in the snow with pee.

Happy 94th birthday to Chuck Yeager, first person to break the sound barrier (confirmed and in level flight). Also a member of the "Ace in a Day" club.

I remember playing Chuck Yeager's flight simulator back on the old 386. All he would ever say was "you really bought the farm on that one!" to me. Loved trying to fly the SR-71 through the canyon run.

Was that the one before Chuck Yeager's Air Combat? I never did play it, loved Air Combat though. WW2, Korea, and Vietnam era missions, and then the ability to create dogfights mixing up aircraft from the different eras was so much fun. FW-190 versus F-4 Phantoms? Go for it!

"It's a great day for flying."
