Naturally I would be in Dublin for the first win in 6 years and first goal in 6 years in the Gold Cup. I am trying real hard not to hype Davies up too much, but he looks the real deal.

FWIW, if anyone wants to watch the game against Honduras on Friday we've set up a watch party at Home & Away on 17th. Game is at 8 pm. We had them for the first two games as well but I was not around to promote.

Not sure if still relevant, but Davies was pulled in the 66th minute from the Costa Rica match because of a suspected injury.

That would be a huge loss.

I don't know how to feel knowing that Canada has advanced in a tournament. They've never done so during my time as a supporter.

I've set up a watch party for the quarterfinal game Thursday at Home & Away pub. Reso is for 7.

I've always devoted time to cheering on Canada, but the weird part is I'm actually entertained by the games now. What a shame we wasted last qualifying cycle on Floro. The team plays such a positive and attacking style now. They could have beaten up on a depleted El Salvador in that away game with the way they play now.

EDIT: I've answered my own question. 8:30pm on Thursday. That's a dream date/time for me personally and the squad. More rest than anyone else, and hopefully the temperature is slightly cooler as well.

Looks like it's Canada vs Jamaica in the quarterfinals. I think that's a good matchup for Canada, although it won't necessarily be easy. People should hit up Home & Away to watch it with us on the big screen.
