Giordano out 6-8 weeks with broken ankle. Stempniak broken foot week to week
According to multiple media sources he left warm ups early and will not be available tonight
@NHLFlames: Guess who will make his #NHL debut tonight? Defenceman Chris Breen! Mark Giordano (unspecified) is out tonight.
He took a few hard hits in the LA game

Hartley made a mention of injuries in his pre-game interview
He skated in the warm up
I'm guessing it was shot block, as are the Fan folks.
Probably back after the road trip at the latest.

Gio is third for blueliners in points with 9 in 8 games. That's a lot of tough big minutes and points to find.
Happy to see Breen make a very long awaited debut though.

Huge loss for the Flames in light of how well Giordano has been playing this season (at a Norris pace IMO). The defence lineup without Giordano is... not good.
