Wouldn't mind him on the 3rd or 4th line RW with PP time.

I want to see another one of those signature Jarome one-timers!

If this is the last season of his career, COL definitely should deal him back to CGY for his final couple months. If the Flames continue to look good, ownership would be smart to pressure Brad on the idea.

Iggy will most likely be ranked 12 in all time games played after this season.

He will be 3rd among RWers behind Jagr and and Recchi.

If this is Iginla's last season I would love for the Flames to be in position to trade for him at the deadline and get one last run for him.

The thought of Giordano handing the cup to Iginla gives me chills and would cause me to cry real tears if it happened

Iginla needs to do exactly nothing to cement himself as a first ballot hall of famer. He's as much of a lock as anyone ever has been.

What else can be said that hasn't? A remarkable achievement for one of the game's best ever. His durability with his style of play is a testament to how well he's prepared his whole career, as well as his hockey IQ to keep him out of dangerous situations on the ice.

Iginla was the reason why I got into the Flames. All my hockey fan friends in elementary school were Leafs fans, so I was a Cujo fan for the longest time. Then I watched an 8pm game (wasn't allowed to stay up late often as a kid) and saw the spectacle of what happens when you piss Iggy off.

Still remember the goal he scored against Chicago in his first playoff game...magical.

I bet you would cry even if it was Giordano handing the cup to Wideman.

Jarome deserves better then that disaster of a team in Colorado. But he chose longer term security for him and his family. Wish he had one more chance at a cup.

If Calgary won the cup, I'm pretty sure Giordano would hand it to Stajan first.

You should do an ATL for comments on Iginla's 1500th game!

Iggy to the Hawks, Flames or Pens again would be a classy move by Avs management.

Hardly any teams in the league can afford his $5.3 million cap hit especially a contender.

Man I forgot about his cap hit on that last deal. Yeah that's pretty pricey for what he brings now. Maybe the Avs could eat some salary to move him. I mean it's just for a month or two..
