For the PK, can't we just line up all the players shoulder to shoulder in front of the goal? Form a human wall and let the other team pass the puck around for 2 minutes.

I want the Flames to cut a hole in the roof of the 1100lb mans house, lift him out and make him the starting goalie.

The PP system is terrible. There's no traffic and they pass it around the perimeter. I honestly have no idea what they're trying to accomplish

If you can show me a person who is 4'x6' square that can move enough to stop shots on the ice then I'll show you someone who dies before the end of the first period.

The Flames should be "30 Cubed" by this time next week. 30th PP, 30th PK, and 30th Overall. And that is after an apparent "hot streak" last week.
For me, it is still clear, all of the coaches and possibly Treiliving need to be fired as soon as possible.
Say what you will about making the playoffs two years ago setting unrealistic expectations, but the fact remains we are in year 4 of a rebuild and we are regressing, not improving from year 3. Our two best players just exited their entry level deals and are being paid to perform now. We have two defencemen that had Norris votes the last 2 seasons. We have a roster that should be improving upon last year, and it isn't. The fact everyone has regressed, except simple styled grinders, illustrates that GG and his staff have no idea how to implement a team system that is suited to this roster.
The season is lost. Our coaching staff has not improved the team, and there are really no signs that we are going to get better. Get a new staff in right away, so we don't waste 25% of next season "learning a new system" again.

What do we do? Fire Treliving yesterday and hire a GM who is not stuck in the 90s and thinks that signing 30+ year olds to long-term deals is the solution.

Well if he's 4x6 he wouldn't have to move to stop shots!

Go back in time and keep Cammy for the PP and Byron for the PK?

They can't be that bad considering Bruce Boudreau is on record saying he predicted the Flames to win the West this year.

Yup. And this statement should damn the coaching staff in the eyes of even their most blind supporters.

Now,now, somebody has to be last, silly stats and keeping numbers are only going to hurt someone's feelings and maybe make somebody cry so we shouldn't be doing that anymore.Every player and coach is special and just fantastic-fat pay checks, ribbons and popsicles for everyone!

That's just it. The Flames PK has been abysmal for the better part of three years now, which is completely inexcusable. The PP has been no prize pig either during that time.
The difference this year is that the bottom has completely fallen out of both at the same time. Fans shouldn't be surprised the special teams are bad. They should be surprised at how they are showing no signs of improving.

This may be a popular opinion, but it is not borne out by the facts.

The Flames were among the most disciplined teams (fewest minor penalties) the previous two seasons, so I don't agree with that narrative.
