Default Where can I get dry ice?

Hey guys,

I am in need of some dry ice. Does anybody know where I can get/purchase some in Calgary?

prax-air sells it. i think the location at blackfoot and 42nd ave sells it. i know that cuz a buddy of mine bought some from prax-air, just dont know if it was that location.

It is there...they sell in "nugget" form or in slabs/bricks

What do you use dry ice for during camping? Just curious cause I am going camping in thurs...

that's the reason my buddy bought it for. he did it at work too. he no longer works there. think there is a connection?

You can put the dry ice in a cooler and it will keep food completely frozen, and it lasts for about 3-5 days. When it melts, it turns to gas instead of water so it doesnt get the food all soggy. It is way easier than having to go by ice every day and then have soggy boxes, etc... when the ice melts.

I give you one warning though. Two years ago we put our beers in a cooler filled with dry ice, and it is much colder than real ice. The beers were completely frozen when we checked them again.

I think there called Alberta Ice, its located on 32ave NE just west of Edmonton trail. Its right in behind the Totem. I know my parents have purchased some from there before
