Steam Summer Sale 2017
Or should we just have an "ongoing games I own but never play thread"...
Could also be the "will this be the time I buy Elite Dangerous thread".
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor for $6 is a must buy if you already don't own.
Transistor for $3.29 also good

My list of "games I bought but have never played" is getting scary long...I would rather not know exactly how long it is now.
I try to keep my wishlist at 10 games, and it looks like 2 of them are good enough prices right now to buy, but I'm not gonna jump on it right away.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor for $6. Haven't played that one and have been meaning too. Sold!
Mafia III is okay. Gets repetitive but for $18 I'd recommended.
And to echo OP's thoughts, I too will be considering Elite: Dangerous
South Park: The Stick of Truth for $10 is worth it if you've never played it yet

They sure are generous with the trading cards. I got 13 with a bunch of duplicates that I'll just sell. I haven't seen anything yet that's under what I have in my Steam wallet but I have two weeks to decide. I also have a copy of Bioshock: Remastered that I want to try and trade for Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition.

Thoughts on Sniper Elite 3? Thinking about getting this for some 2 player coop.

Didn't play the coop but I enjoyed the regular game. I guess I should check if Sniper Elite 4 is on sale.

Great picks. I wish Ninja Turtles turned out as well as Transformers

Might be a good time to buy all the old Final Fantasy games. $8 each.

Definitely going to pick up Total War Shogun 2 and see how I enjoy it before waiting on Warhammer next time around.
Other games I'm considering are Stick of Truth and maybe Shadow of Mordor since it's only $6...

Civ 6 worth it for $47.99 (40% off)? I've been waiting to pick it up on sale, but wondering if I should be waiting for an even deeper discount.

It's worth it.
First Civ game in a while that didn't need DLC to fix it and make it playable.

Total Biscuit has a list of 20 great games under $5. Brothers for $1.69 is an amazing deal.

Edit: Thanks for the Motorsports Manager recommendation. I'm doing an F1 season with the 80's mod.

I think civ 6 sucks, personally. Disappointed I wasted my money on it.
