Cope say that Manchester United first submitted a firm offer of €80m for Mbappe, before going back with a second offer of €110m.
The Spanish radio station insist Monaco aren’t keen to sell, which would suggest those offers have been refused. However especially at the higher amount, that would seem a strange move from the French principality club. Monaco are a self confessed selling club and a Manchester United offer of €110m would seem almost impossible to refuse, if it were a guaranteed amount.
I remember Cope to be a very reliable source, so even with a grain of salt, I wouldn't be surprised if this was relatively close to the truth. And I don't know if I should be terrified because United are apparently willing to shell out €100m+ for a teenager, or excited because I really, really, really want Mbappe. Can't-miss prospect like Neymar a few years ago.
United play West Brom tomorrow. They really only threaten with set pieces. So you just know Fellaini will start. <sigh>
Pogba, Herrari, Ibra, Smalling & Jones are out.
This is how I see Mourinho's 11.
--------- Rooney
Rashford Mata Mkhitarian
---- Fellaini Carrick
Darmian Rojo Bailly Valencia
---------- de Gea
looks like Mourinho isn't a fan of Griezmanns whining because of the English weather either. Good to see.
Quote:
“If a player wants to move to London, enjoy London, we don’t want you,” Mourinho said. “If the first thing you think is where you’re going to live, think Los Angeles, LA Galaxy would be the first choice, then Vitoria Setubal - go to the beach every day. There are beautiful places to live and to play. We want people who are really engaged by the first contact. If I call or Mr Woodward calls some guy or some agent we want people who are immediately engaged or dreaming about coming. This is the profile of players we want. If you don’t want to come to us, good luck, enjoy your other club.”
Great win for Spurs today in the face of both midfielders injured in the first half and already missing Kane and Rose. I know...It was only Burnley, but they're tough at home and Spurs got it done anyway.
Good results around the league as well, more or less. Who would have predicted a Pulis/Mourinho game would end 0-0 though?
So is United's 19 match unbeaten run the most pointless in league history? Sixth when it started, could be sixth by this time tomorrow. So many dropped points at home, this has to be one of their worst years as far as home results go.

every other manager would be torn to pieces for that horrible "Jesus Navas at RB"-experiment
I think that he should have had a red for that ridiculous tackle in the first half. He got a yellow, but studs up all the way and he caught the player on either thigh. Just reckless...but it's just my opinion. Announcers didn't seem to care.
once he got the yellow, which was his 2nd tackle that could have been one, Wenger should have basically told Sanchez and Walcott to run at him all game, he would have gotten a red

I wish I knew how to embed twitter here, but this gem is from Paddy Power: After just 13 minutes, Watford have done what Man Utd couldn't do in 90 mins at the weekend - score against West Brom.
