I got to give Locke a shout out as well. Came across this thread and read all the great reviews and I can tell you they aren't lying! Excellent customer service. He was quick to set up an appointment when I contacted him and he handled everything very efficiently. I was comfortable dealing with him from the moment I stepped in his office. I will definitely be using him again in the future!

Haha. Best thing about my profession is I'll be sipping some beers on the Halifax waterfront in July and August before I have to deal with reality again!

My experience? I'm currently in the middle of my 14th year and I've seen and done pretty much every kind of self-employment there is.

As for cost, if you want to PM me with some details I can be more accurate because it depends if you're a sole-proprietor, a partnership or incorporated.

Yikes! That's getting close. I'm waiting on some documents from my small business' accountant in Vancouver to start my taxes. I usually use Turbotax and do it myself but might need to engage your services!

Huge shout out to Deiter - I went from freaking out right before the deadline and owing money to getting a refund back with time to spare.

I'm also writing a strongly worded letter to the folks at TurboTax, but that's another story all together.

Final heads up for stragglers that know they're going to owe, I'm here for a little while yet and I think I've still got a little magic left.

I got in a bit over my head this year as I dived into a little entrepreneurship and ended up a little over-leveraged in some small businesses. I normally do my own taxes every year but reached out to Locke because I realized I needed some professional help and I was all the way up to the deadline.

He helped turn a $2000 owing to the CRA into a $1300 refund. I would definitely recommend his services as he really helped me out at past the 11th hour!

Deiter has done my taxes the last 2 years and I can't say enough good things. Quick, easy, and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend his services!
