[OOT] March 24 - 4 games

Just a terrible call to start off the night in the Islanders-Penguins game. Goal was scored with 2 seconds left in the period and the islanders goal is challenged and called no goal due to goaltender interference. The islander was clearly pushed in by the Penguin. Such a bad, bad call. The NHL makes no sense.

I was surpised they kept showing Weight on camera. He was not happy. At all.

And another challenge, this one for offsides. And Pens lose this challenge. Looks exactly like the Chicago offside call from last week.

Watching other teams in OT really makes you appreciate the Flames in OT. Kessel took the puck from the offensive zone to the neutral zone for zero reason three times in one shift.

Don't like how the refs are looking for the puck right over Halak there. They're way too close IMO and if I am the shooter Id be pretty pissed. They should at least wait until Halak turns around as it's still possible he can put it in his own net if he doesn't know where it is. With the ref looking at his pads it gives Halak an advantage knowing the puck isn't behind him and he knows not to move.

Good news, just like four days ago on Monday, the Stars are beating the Sharks. This time it is by a larger margin, 4-1 after forty minutes.

Looks like the Sharks are going to lose their 5th in a row. If Anaheim wins tonight, they'll be even in points with the Sharks in the same number of games.

The Stars kill the Sharks 6-1 and Corey Perry scored late in the first period, 1-0 Ducks.

Crazy to see the Sharks collapse. I thought they had the Pacific wrapped up. I also thought Nashville had 3rd in the Central wrapped up and the Leafs would miss the playoffs so should probably stop making predictions.

Man, the Sharks are really struggling these days. 5 losses in a row, and 4-6-0 in their last 10. Kinda hope the Flames end up drawing them in the first round, as that team is ripe for an upset.

During the second period, the Jets tied the game 1-1 on Josh Morrisey's power play goal. Cogliano scores the eventual game winning goal later in the period. Silfverberg scores the empty net goal for the 3-1 win. The Jets were playing hang on for most of the game and even when they tied it up. The Ducks were flying all over the Jets in the first and third periods, 15-6 and 14-4 were the shots respectively. Hutchinson was the main reason the Jets lost by a respectable score.
