4 at 3 in the shootout.

The two points gained for the Islanders puts them in eighth place, the single point for the Penguins puts them one point back of the Capitals. Halak was called up from the AHL and makes 37 saves for the victory. The third period had lots of action as both teams combined for 36 shots (21-15 in favour of the Islanders). This was the best OOT game to watch.

They looked brutal the 2nd time round against the Stars. The Sharks have scored only 1 goal in the 2 games against the Stars this week. Coach DeBoer was yelling the riot act on his players and left Dell in net for all 6 goals. Along with Cracknell's hat trick, Spezza had 3 assists.

The Lightning could still make it in the playoffs with the OT win against Detroit. The eastern wildcard and Atlantic div spots should be a wild finish. http://scores.nbcsports.com/nhl/recap.asp?lg=NHL&g=2017032405&ref=hea&tm=&src=

While I also hope we get the Sharks. their record going into the playoffs doesn't mean much.
